Seasonal Fire Hire

Douglas Okanogan Fire District 15 is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Engine Leader/Engine Boss for the 2020 summer season to preform pre-suppression and suppression related activities as a member of the FD15/DNR cooperative fire engine crew.

Individuals must be willing and capable of preforming strenuous outdoor work, safely and productively, working together as a team with agency personnel, accepting direction and acting responsibly. 

• Must be at least 21 years of age and at least Wildland Firefighter I Qualified.

The duration of these positions is generally 5-6 months with work beginning approximately May 4 ending late October. ​
